I’ve offered food to beggars and/or the homeless several times, and they’ve NEVER ever accepted it. The only time one of them took what I had to offer was when I donated a stack of pennies (which I specifically went to my room to get for this person) to someone who frequently begs outside of my building; he looked at me like I was an asshole, making more trouble for him than my stack of pennies was worth.
See if I ever offer any of those fuckers anything again.
